  2. Embedded system is a computer(or technically more correct, a computing system) which is embedded in another system.
    The difference of course is that, since a embedded system is embedded to help another system, it is a different computer from those we are accostumed to, which can has a more generalized purpose; instead, a embedded system is a specific purpose computer defined by what functions we want to implement to the system we are embedding our computer in.
